Day 32: #100HappyDays
Sherlocked!

Sherlock, John, and Mary

Sherlock, John, and Mary

I waited for a loooooooooong time before I got a clear copy of this one. I am absolutely SHERLOCKED into fandom. I just knew I had to watch it this weekend or perish with curiosity for another week.

This is the British TV series that really had me swooning. The makers of this series only release seasons annually, and with a meager (but wonderfully created) 3 episodes each. But this show really illustrates the power of a well-written plot. You do not need to rake in ratings with an insane quantity of episodes. Some stories have that short burst of joy that lasts for a year and beyond. I am not surprised that the Season 1 pilot episode was written by no less than THE Neil Gaiman himself.

I. totally. totes. totes. totes. love. Benedict. Cumberbatch.

The Fantastic Duo of Baker Street

There’s a raging debate in my head on who my bigger British crush is: Cumberbatch or David Tennant (Doctor Who). I think Tennant wins the debate on most days, but whenever there’s a new episode of Sherlock that I have to watch, Doctor Who has to take a backseat.

With season 3 successfully released this year, the next season will be out by 2015.

Yep, this fangirl is really happy despite the huge gaps in watching this.
