This is the bible of editing, so to speak. Chicago Manual of Style 16th Edition.

Lapsing into a Comma is a witty guide chronicling the life of an editor.

NY Times’ style manual also seems to be a very good reference especially in matters of online writing…

Another popular editor book, The Copy Editor’s Handbook seems apt for the things I would like to master within the next five years…

And finally, this title is considered as the best supplement for the Chicago Manual of Style.
